About this mission

From June 8 to 12, 2026, a targeted business & exploration mission will take place in Houston, at the core of the most advanced CCUS ecosystem globally. The programme explores the full carbon value chain: Industrial Emitters → CO₂ Infrastructure → Storage → Utilization (EOR & beyond).

Texas concentrates nearly half of the U.S. carbon storage potential. Strengthened federal tax incentives, a structured regulatory framework around Class VI permits, existing CO₂ infrastructure and large-scale industrial projects position the region as the future global CCUS hub.

The programme combines exchanges with major industrial and energy emitters, meetings with CCUS hub developers, dialogue with EPCs and oilfield services involved in project execution, and an on-the-ground immersion at operational infrastructure.
