Constance Bost honored with the National Order of Merit by Consule General Valérie Baraban

Last May, the FACC held its General Assembly at the stunning offices of BCG in Houston. Highlights included the awarding of the National Order of Merit to Executive Director Constance Bost.

One of the most emotional moments of the evening during our General Assembly was the presentation of the Ordre National du Mérite to Executive Director Constance Bost by Consul General Valérie Baraban. This prestigious honor recognized Constance’s exceptional leadership and her role in transforming the French-American Chamber of Commerce from a local networking organization into a dynamic, Texas-wide force providing high-value business services. In her remarks, the Consul General praised the Chamber’s turnaround under Constance’s guidance—highlighting its remarkable growth, expanded impact, and deeper engagement with both French and American business communities.

Visibly moved, Constance dedicated the award to her team, sharing the recognition with Aurore Ladeveze and Léa Catanzano, who, in her words, “did the heavy lift” alongside her. She also expressed heartfelt thanks to the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Alexander Adotevi, John Eldridge and Geoffroy Petit, for their strategic vision, and to all the members whose trust and commitment fuel the Chamber’s mission every day.

Today, FACC Texas – Gulf Coast stands as the fastest-growing chapter in the global network of CCI France International over the past five years. We are deeply grateful to be part of this powerful international network, and honored by this recognition, which highlights the meaningful work carried out by our organization to support French companies in their U.S. growth strategies.
